| good deal. Im looking at a 01 jetta 1.8t. Needs a turbo so I thought I would do away with all the stock
turbo shit and get an ebay kit and when the turbo blows get a good one.

it wont run right it will freak out and chips are like a grand... So I would need a chip? Can I just get an aftermarket turbo and throw on with a small spring till I get the funds for the chip and once I have the chip will that cause it not to "freak out"? Sorry for the thread hijack | |

| i remember craig ross and jason's jettas, both there turbos took a shit at almost the same time...and there trannys had problems, but over all i think they are nice cars

Sorry for the thread hijack its not how high or low the boost its the fact it has a maf and bigger than factory turbo flows more air,it will have to be chipped and you will need injectors since the 1.8t cars only have like 315cc injectors, its def far from a honda | |
