well i am not paying anything for the engine.lol so i will come across one in time. i am going to be taking over a year to just build the engine. so i am in no rush

why are you building an engine that is already good for like 600+whp? 600hp and street uses is useless

maybe i should say that diff. i am rebuilding and adding some better parts on it. the stock turo is junk on those engines from what i have read., and i am making it better than waht it is. i know there good for that kind of power but i am only looking for about 450. i am not racing the thing. more than less some show's and some drifting. i am not trying to build this thing to were i can only run it is on a race track. just something new ya know.

If you get just the motor and no tranny..thats ok. Because you can use the KA tranny on the RB..just have to swap out the bell housing. BUT I have an extra rb tranny down in Tn. so maybe we could work something out. non the less...the rb25 is a good motor.. DO IT

i would get it back that was a bad ass nasty 240. i say go for it

just picked up a drift style rear bumper and a new 240sx rear center peice. and also scored a rockford p3 sub

hellz yea...im startin my hunt for either a trunk style 240 or a newer civic so when the taxes roll in i can get back to buildin somethin

if you get a 240 once my rb is done i will sell you my stock engine if you need it for cheap man.lol

I talked to a guy last night and he takes 240s and makes them dirt track cars. He is doing one right now that is a trunk style a.k.a. Coupe. So if you need any parts...lmk

will be posting pics later tonite. i went and picked up the rb25det engine the other day and is now in the garage torn down. i found that number 5 rod has a spun bearing. not to bad looks like the guy shut it off as soon as he heard it. taking the crank to be inspected soon. where is a good place to get an engine hot tanked? i want this thing spotless.lol
