| 11/12/2009 well today wasnt as eventful as we had hoped. We got the blower motor hole cut out on the JDM clip..and we drilled out the spot welds on my car and took off the reinforcement plates off the side. Also dropped the LHD racking pinion and preped the RHD one for install. I have to redo one of the PS lines on the RHD racking pinion because its bent. But its getting there. The guy welding is suppose to come by tonight to help mock up where we need to cut so we can start to process of putting everything back together! update: Well my friend came by tonight to shed some light on what he needs us to do to start the process of removing my LHD fire wall. Also i am going to remove my chassie harness to flip it over onto the Right side so that it will line up with my fuse box. Yeh thats right..im even switching the ECU and fuse box to the correct location for RHD BOO YAHH | |

| i cant tell from the pics but if there are any sharp corners where u cut out the firewall round them out...it will help releave any stress points and make it easier to weld back in....and the metal is only like 18 gauge at the most, but if u are worried about stress and something failing u can cheat and take a 2 inch wide piece of 18 gauge and welding it in to overlap the seam where u weld in the new firewall. i did it down either side of the civic on the inside since jamey has this tendency to corner like a f1 driver lol | |
